Its obviously going to happen; and w/ Iran and America's relations going as far down the sh!ter as possible, is it just a matter of time? How much time?

When you look at it, either Bush will find a way to attack Iran (Not bad mouthing him, America needs to attack), or the Israeli President will and America will come in to help Israel against Iran. Now Iran vs America and (and Britain will join right along w/ the US), not much of a war on Iran's side because it wouldnt be like Iraq; It'd be kill them and leave, not all this occupation sh!t. But who would come in for Iran?

The only possible MAJOR threats are China and Russia w/ N Korea and the Middle East as smaller threats. Like China's said, the US owes them too much money to wage war against them. But who ,in modern time, would have the balls to step up and fight w/ the Iranians against 3 militarial superpowers?

The attack on Iran seems imminent. However, the extent of the attack is questionable. I don't think the US can afford to go for an all-out full scale war against Iran. Most likely scenerio is a skirmish. Still, there is a risk of escalation - when blood is boiling and reason and logic flies out the window.

If it does escalate, the most likely candidate that will come to aid on Iran's side will be China, since it has billions of dollars invested in strategic energy resources (oil and gas). However, the extent of China's involvement is also questionable. It could be a diplomatic war in the UN, or at worst, an attack on US strategic interests, such as Taiwan.

But who knows? The Democratic Congress, if they're worth their salt, can still cut funding on the war, just like they did in Vietnam War, and bring the war to a screeching halt.

WWIII actually has actually begun already. It began with the Iraq war. One of the reasons the Iraq war happened was to give the United States a base to attack Iran and Syria. The war with Iran will probably begin before the end of the year. The US government isn't afraid to mix it up with Russia and the Chinese.
