tome, opus, manuscript, octavo, volume, tract, monograph? It really depends on what type of book you're looking for. Novel, thesaurus, fiction or non-fiction?

This site saves my *** everytime I need to write a paper. If it's a coming of age story about a young person, you can use bildungsroman, or entwicklungsroman. Those are two sexy words.
