It's pretty effective I'm sure. However, when implementing this plan, make sure your behavior does come across as setting the person free, and NOT forcing him away. If someone perceives your action as forcing him out, he may be hurt and not come back even if he does love you, because he will think you don't love him.

if you love someone, run after him, but if he isn't running after you when he can, if you set him "test" free, then set him free for real. The true ones will always come back in the end

I agree 100%. Put a little distance and time between two people and you'll find out just how much they really mean to you!!! Thank God mine came back after he was "set free"!!! Better and stronger than ever. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder!!

NOT!

I loved someone set them free and they never came back! hahaha!

I set my ex husband free and he did come back, only I was too stupid to see it at the time. So yes, if they come back they do love you.

I set her free, but I'm beginning to wonder if I would want her back.

That's what Sting says! LoL!
But what you said is true. I say it all the time. If you lose something and if doesn't come back to you then it wasn't yours to begin with.

not every time...sometimes when you let someone go, they find they are just fine without you or find someone new and more exciting than you...be careful of what you want you just might get it...
