Runescape, (I don't know whether you like or not, just try, due to the fact that your PC is not strong)

Second Life (It's a very fun game too, but you have to pay monthly)

If you really want to play the Sims and other games you just probley need a new graphic card. You can try this it might have what you are looking for anyway it is a good site I think.

Go to HPgames and download it you have 2 free plays. Also if you drink coke then go to mycokerewards and enter the codes in cap and the flaps. This will get you Wildcoins which allow you to play free.I think this is a great way to play games your not sure you want to buy and if you play with Wildcoins you get I think up to 50% off according to how many Wildcoins you used before buying. It explains it on the site.Good Luck!

You may want to try the very popular Second Life. I didn't like it but I prefer a more faster pace of gameplay. In that second life you build a character and can explore a 3d world.

Now I don't know how good your computer is, but I'm guessing that if it runs Windows XP.

Second Life (Very Popular) ***

"Second Life is an expansive online society, lived in and built by its participants. Join a 3D world full of people, activity, and fun, where you and fellow residents can build a shared reality. You choose your own goals ? travel and explore, claim and build on virtual land, make friends and socialize, or vie for status and wealth. Whatever you choose to do, your Second Life starts now.

Fly through an ever-evolving 3D landscape and encounter wonderful places and things ? all created by residents like you. A lone cabin on a peaceful island. A growing city. Mysterious ancient ruins. A Wild West town. There?s no end to what you can discover, and it?s never the same twice.

Change your appearance to look like anything ? an imaginary superhero, a mythical monster, or your own mirror image. Or, change your surroundings. Build your dream home. Make art. Become a world-famous clothing designer. Collaborate with others to build a major civic work ? or an entire city. Let your imagination run wild!

Discover a vibrant society bustling with people and activities. Make friends at a dance contest or a treasure hunt. Host social events and create your own fun. Throw wild parties. Run a comedy club. MC a fashion show. At every event, you?ll meet fascinating people ? who will intrigue, inspire, and entertain you.

Become the world?s most popular or wealthiest resident. Win votes for your personality, appearance, or building skills. Build a disco and charge admission. Sell your art, clothing, or weapons. Win a trivia contest. Battle other contestants over a defended treasure. Or, compete in games of your own invention. There are many goals to choose from ? pick your ?game? and play to win." - MMORPG.com

This online game called There (link in source). Basic membership is free.

"There gives members the opportunity to connect with others while doing fun things together online, and express themselves in ways that are not possible with other forms of online socializing. Specifically, There members can communicate with friends; engage in a multitude of structured and unstructured games and activities; create, buy and sell virtual objects; join a club; train their pet dog, or simply enjoy the rich landscapes and hidden treasures that There has to offer. Each member?s experience is only limited by his or her imagination." - mmorpg.com

There is another called Oz World (link in source) and it's fully free:

"Oz Online offers a breath of fresh air in today’s combat-ruled MMORPG landscape. Instead of forcing players to compete against each other, this game promotes community and friendship by concentrating on friendly interactions and social gatherings. Players who decide to participate in the unique system of Oz Personal have a much easier time making friends online, at the same time getting to know some of them in real-life.

The driving force of Oz Online is in fishing. This is how players advance in the game, earning social points and Gold. While the early levels only serve to introduce the players to Oz-style fishing, it can be a thing of art at higher levels. There are skills that enhance various aspects of a player’s fishing prowess, and seeking the best spots for different types of fish easily takes a life of its own. Forming a party with other players also speeds up the process of advancing as a fisher, and finding a willing gamer is never a problem.

There are numerous ways of spending the wealth gained through fishing. Literally thousands of customizable items exist, from clothing, hairstyles, accessories, and many others. Even item combinations are possible to allow for the creation of rare and interesting items. Players may own a house for themselves as well, free to choose from many pieces of furniture and hardware for decoration. No character looks the same; people soon recognize a player by the way she looks alone.

Those interested may opt to post a classified ad in Oz Personal section of the game’s web site. Think of it as a space for players to share a little about who they are, with photos and descriptions. Oz Personal provides our players a foundation from which they can grow strong bonds with one another. There are cases where in-game relationships develop into real-life ones. To help facilitate such couples, Oz Online also allows in-game marriage, complete with presents and honeymoon houses.

This game will prove a nice change of pace for those looking for a space to just relax with friends. All they need to do is, well, populate the game world, and Oz Online will take care of the rest. Many events have been prepared to greet new players, and player-organized contests are also on the horizon. Oz Online is currently offering free lifetime accounts to new players. " - MMORPG.com
