i was gobsmacked too that nothing seems to of been done to help.
America make out that they are soo good and soo great what the heckers are they playing at if they cant solve a major disaster in their own country i think they need to butt out of everyone elses problems and sort their own out first

Well, how smug of you. I have been part of the relief efforts along the Gulf Coast several times over the past year, and you have no conception of the devastation.
Katrina was a monster storm, and made the average North Sea blow seem like a mild spring day. You obviously have no clue how enormous that storm was, and how badly it damaged the infrastructure. The hurricane afflicted literally hundreds of miles of coastline, and devastated areas up to 100 miles inland. That would be the equivalent of 70% of Britain being lashed by 120 mph winds for 2 days.
Further, your comparison with the Asian tsunami is spurious at best, given how the tsunami, terrible as it was, reached no more than 3 miles inland at its worst point.

No WWE won't be getting any heat for that.It was a real cheap shot by Miz and he will be getting all the heat.Which is part of his gimmick as a heel to draw heat and become hated by the fans. What better way to sell you character, get the boos and become really unpopular than by stirring up controversy. All the great heels like Ric Flair, Roddy Piper and Ted DiBiase were great because they sold the gimmick, did their jobs and drew heat. Miz was just trying to emphasize his heel character and draw more heat. It's the same thing with Edge who insulted the Toronto fans by saying it wasn't good to be back home and he was glad he left.Or Chris Jericho provoking the New York fans back in 2001 after the Yankees lost the World Series. It's all to create controversy and reinforce the heel image.

I thought it was Louisiana? Anyway, It was indeed a sobering site. And I couldn't help wondering if there would have been as much damage if their houses ware made out out bricks rather than matchsticks?
The US are hellbent on pouring all their money in to defence right now and on top of that we as a species are happy to under estimate the power of nature, right up until it's to late.. To be fair, the tsunami victims had less to rebuild and had a truly massive amount of aid and foreign help. Nobody gave to the Americans, they told us that they didn't need it, but it makes you wonder what's going on. I'm sure it would all be back to normal if there was oil under New Orleans..

I was absolutley shocked when seeing the state of New Orleans one year on from the disaster. American government is all about Patriotism however when you look beyond the poiliticians campaigns to the raw evidence they no more care about their country than they don't care about oil! New Orleans is a forgotten place to the riches of the American society due to it's calibour in the class deomgraphics. If the area was full of white politicians, it would have been sorted within weeks!

It's an absolute disgrace - the whole of the USA should be ashamed of themselves. If enough of them stood up to the country's leader someone's bound to take notice.

I was stunned. I honestly thought at first that this was filmed soon after it happened not one whole year after. Its so sad that this is allowed to happen.

I know. It's all because they're black. During the elections, the black population had their votes uncounted, allegedly.
It's terrible, the racism that goes on there.
