If a man is truly very in love with his wife/girlfriend, and she is his everything, and the two are madly in love.. would he look around and stare at other women, would he sometime think about cheating, day dream to what its like?
I just want to know. I know that I'm a girl, and I would never even thiink of cheating, it wouldn't even cross my mind, nor do I care to look at another man in a lustful way. That's how in love I am.
Can any guys answer this question, possibly? From their own experience?

Oh yeah.. Not sure if this would determine the answer better, but we've been together since we were 13... And now we're 19. Never been with anyone else. Still so into eachother.

Everyone, men and women, if they are alive at all, will wonder what it's like w/someone else. Now whether you act on it or not is a different story. If you haven't looked at anyone, you are still new in your relationship. I just asked this question to a friend of mine yesterday, he went and polled 10 guys at work and they all answered that way.

I'm a woman, but I think yes, a man who is in love can cheat. I think it's possible that a woman who is in love can cheat as well.
There are probably all kinds of reasons why, not just one set reason.
I think it's possible to love and be in love with more than one person at a time, which might make a person cheat.
It's also possible to want sexual variety (so a man or a woman could be in love, but want sexual variety badly enough to cheat)
You say you don't care to look at another man in a lustful way - I hate to tell this to you, but you're in the vast minority. Most married or coupled people continue to have lustful and sexual feelings for people other than their significant others throughout the marriage/relationships. They also continue to have crushes, just as they did before the relationship. They may also fall in love with others that they work with, go to church with, or just are friends with. It's just a part of being human.
The question and test of the marriage or relationship is, do they act on it?

Sure we look at other women. We all do. We're men and we're stupid. But the difference between a man that loves you and a man that doesn't is that a man that doesn't love you will say :"I never look at other women, baby. I only have eyes for you!"...and then go and cheat on you. A man that loves you will say: "I'm not gonna lie to you, I do notice other women but I know what I've got somthing good and I'm not messing it up."

Thinking about cheating, admiring another attractive person, or wondering what someone else might be like in bed isn't cheating...it's part of being human.
Will guys who are in love with their partner do the above? Possibly, yes...especially if they've been together a while and the "new" has worn off the relationship...being in love doesn't mean someone is dead, just that that they have deep emotional feelings toward their partner.
Would someone who was in love as you described cheat on their partner? Possibly...people do stupid things and make foolish choices all the time (esp when alcohol or drugs are involved). Hopefully this wouldn't occur, but it's been known to.

Look,The truth is in most cases when a man is in deep love and is mentally satisfied and physically satisfied it isn't likely at all that he will cheat.In truth men are by nature wired a bit different than women when it comes to hormones so with a man it is more likely that he will look at another beautiful women even if he is in love.It wont be because he is a cheater or an awful person,its just in his nature to appreciate the allure and beauty of most all women.This is in no way a diversion to the love that he feels for you,Its just an almost unconscious habit of nature.If a man loves you and adores you and wants to be with you,He is trust worthy and for sure not going to act on anything with anyone.Don't take it personal at all.Its not his thoughts that will make him look.Its the animistic side of him that god gave him naturally.Just like alot of gods creatures that are no longer in the wild and need to hunt for food or a mate,they still have their instincts to do what they were wired to do even if no longer needed.Now if he acts on it and cheats then he didn't really feel as in love with you as he said.

you will find in life there are different stages of love right now it appears that you are in what I term idealistic love and in that love you see love as always true and never doing anything wrong to the object of your love, the sad state of the world is such that if the right line is used at the right time and the right looks given at the right time ect, then anyone and I mean anyone not just men but also women that includes wives girlfriends husbands ect will cheat

Im not a guy but i can answer that question it depends on that man yes i do believe that a man can truly be in love with one woman and they can mean everything to each other and he will sleep with another women and yes they do look at other woman. I even do it and i could never imagine leaving my husband its just something that happens. I've never cheated on him but have thought about it its just my love that stops me from doing it. Some men just do it because they can

I have once been in love with this man that other men were invisible to me. Women can love to an extend that any man trying something with you, we just tell them off as we are badly in love.
Men however will cheat given chance.
A man i met at a bar once told me he had sex on his honeymoon with another woman in brazil who through herself on him. He says he loves his wife more than anything but it happened to him.
YES A MAN CAN CHEAT EVEN WHEN THEY LOVE YOU THAT MUCH.

Men are "visual" they cheat in mind all the time when they "see" something of interest.
People don't cheat because their not in love........they cheat for the thrill of doing something that is wrong, or fantisize about. Sure the ones who aren't in love have their reasons to cheat, but one in love........does it because they can.

Sometimes it's good to look at other people. It makes you realize how lucky you are with what you've got.
If my partner looks at other men and still wants to be with me then I know she truly loves me. It's a compliment.
