There is no war against "Radical Islam", there's no war going on at all, remember? It was declared over by Bush and Cheney in December of 2003.

Anyway, what I think you are referring to is, "alternative plans to stop the escaltion of the civil war in Iraq."

Well here you go:

Clinton's plan: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story...

Edward's plan: http://www.johnedwards.com/news/press-re...

Many plans have been proposed. Surprise, Bush isn't listening. Why do Republicans have selective hearing problems?

Liberals tend to think of an idealized world that, unfortunately, doesn't exist. They want peace but don't seem to realize that you can't have peace if the "other side" doesn't want it. They want people to not be poor but haven't yet caught on that you can't just pay people to be middle class. They want everyone to be equal but don't acknowledge that people exist with very real differences in a wide range of attributes, many of which THEY are responsible for. They want everyone to earn a living wage even though the laws of economics don't always make that possible. They're so worried about things like gay marriage that they don't see that marriage -- and families -- are endangered species. They want clean air and a stable climate, but they don't realize that some of us have to make a living and that that living tends to muddy the waters (or foul the air or influence the climate) a bit. They want illegal immigrants to get drivers licenses but are somehow unaware of the fact that if you don't want a class of people to be "illegal immigrants", change the immigration law (e.g., get rid of visas, throw out immigration quotas, invite all comers) -- and that this will never happen.

If you think you live in such a world, you don't need to do anything but encourage people to be what you think they are: peaceloving, unbiased, law-abiding people who really just want to get along. In other words, the only plan you need is one that gets rid of (or better, simply ignores) all the "artificial" barriers to these things: wars and defense departments, big smoke-belching business, red-lining bankers, nasty government immigration laws, prices, resource shortages and so on. In other words, you repeal everything and call it a day. Who needs a plan to do that?!

Of course, conservatives live in an ideal world, too, usually one that comes straight from the Bible. In this world there are nothing but white Anglo-saxon Protestants doing nothing but what the good book says. But that's another story.

i think of that liberals are disingenuous and particularly frankly cheating whilst it includes what's going on on their area of the aisle, and whilst it includes their candidate. If the different area have been found doing those type of shenanigans, i think of that they could be screaming for firings, impeachment, beheadings, and God is super-unfold with what else. What liberals fail to comprehend is that via letting such issues slide on via, and giving a green mild for it, the subsequent one in place of work, who would desire to easily be a conservative, may additionally do those issues with relative impunity. Liberals a technique or the different in basic terms think of relating to the "now" and disrespect the implications of what their movements could make contributions to interior the destiny.

First of all you can't have a "war on terror" its almost impossible because the "terrorists" do not come from one particular country, they come from many countries. So declaring war on one country is retarded and will not accomplish anything. ALSO it's like fighting fire with fire, the more we attack the more ammunition they have to view America as the "bad guy". Im sorry you can call me a bleeding heart liberal and all the other silly terms you like but I don't believe in war, and I don't believe war solves anything. Look at Vietnam- what did that solve? I think this "war on terror" is above and beyond George Bushes control and the only way for peace is through allies NOT making more enemies!

Since you criticize the liberals of having "no plan." Please explain what the Bush/conservative plan has been in Iraq for the past four years? Now we have "new plan." What plan comes up next the new and improved?

Liberals built this country. Remember Britian? The Boston Tea Party? And JFK? Conservatives secured Hitler's place in old Germany, Lenin, and so many others played the cards we are seeing today, Fear the liberal agenda is Doublespeak, read the now banned book 1984 or Animal Farm if you can find it. Maybe go out of this country (now you can't) and find the books. Thank you conservatives for protecting me from my thoughts.

Quit selling Mrs. Richard-son's chocolate half breed syrups.
After all the only living liberals are those that add those chocolate sauce with permission.

Because they are a do as I say, not as I do type of people. Take Al Gore, he wants you to buy that hybrid and use less energy, yet he has huge gas guzzling SUV's and 4 mansions that he has to heat and air condition. Oh and he has a zinc mine that pollutes like crazy, but save the environmet!
