I just got the new taquitos, and they are not even round! they are flat! What the hell?

It's just easier that way.
Marketing groups lie to you every day, almost everything that's advertized doesn't do what it says it's supposed to do. If it did what it was supposed to do, then they wouldn't have to market it. Word of mouth would take care of it, but every few months there's a new version of the same product you've always used, it's just in better packaging.
There's this great movie about advertizing called Crazy People with Dudley Moore, you should check it out.

Dude, you're asking why food that costs $0.99 COOKED, that you can't buy in the grocery store for less than $10, isn't what you expected? If I LOOK at a Taco Bell, I get the runs.

Proves that you can't judge a book by its cover, or in this case food by the commercial or picture. I try to stay away from Taco Bell as much as I can.

Ha Ha i just had Taco Bell and i was shocked because they actually filled the taco with meat butt my Cinnamon twists were like diet food they had NO taste grrr...

Sorry to hear that, they shouldn't do that... I am dissatisfied with Taco Bell and will go to a Mexican restaurant instead and get take out... it is far better tasting just not as convenient.

Thats cause the food in the commercials and on the posters arent its like fake cheese and steak so that it looks good and they can shot the commercial and take pictures with out it starting to look all ugly and smell and stuff thats why the food looks perfect and tasty so that when you look at it youll say that looks good i wanna try one. Just like when you see the hamburgers on tv they look nothing like that when you actually get a hamburger.

LOL... I guess thats because they grill them. I haven't tried the steak taquitos, but the chicken is pretty good.
