the complex has maintence that removes snow and ice as well as fix any repairs that you need to be done in your apartment. only time you will have to remove snow and ice is if you rent a house or something but not in a apartment complex. normonlly they are pretty good about that unless you live in a not so good complex.

It is usually the caretaker's job to ensure that the walkways stay cleared of ice & snow. They usually do the best they can. Salt or sand should be put on top of ice that can't be chipped away.

The landlord is suppose to remove snow from sidewalks put salt on them not you hopes this helps you

Do you pay commen charges? or homeonwers association fees? If you rent, then either the owners pays them or it is included in yuor rent..
But they typically have people they hire to take care of it at all times.
