An associates degree is a two year degree and a bachelors degree is a four year degree. Much more schooling and more advanced coursework with a Bachelors, an associates degree is between a high school diploma and a bachelors degree.

Now a Certificate of Completion is not an academic credential and there are no state course or grade requirements necessary to earn it.

A diploma is the certificate or document that is awarded to graduates of an educational institution, officially confirming that the student has successfully completed a program. The word "diploma" originates from the Greek word meaning "folded license." Typically, a diploma is the standard credential of completion of a high-school education, but it may also be used in certifying the successful completion of continued education and adult education programs.

You are right about the time frames for the different degrees. Depending on what it is that you want to do with your degree, will depend on how long you want to attend school. However, in the professional world, an AA or AS degree is looked at by the employer as someone who did not want to make the commitment to complete the entire degree. If that is how you want to be viewed, then stay with the associates program. The bachelors program, although longer will increase you overall education, making you much more desirable to a firm or company.

A certificate is simply one year of specific training. There is not any general education requirements to obtain a certificate. Now, if you want to become an insurance phone represenative, then this is the way to go. You will not make any money with the certificate alone.

Yup, associates takes 2, bachelors 4. Although your just looking into colleges, try to think of what you may want to do after college and try and find out which degree that would require. Certificate and diploma are most likely talking about whether or not you graduated high school (diploma) or if you received a GED (certificate).

In a nutshell, An pals is a 2 365 days degree (generally from an area college), Bachelor a 4 365 days, and Masters' is previous that- time varies yet averages 3 years to get. A Masters can in elementary words be favourite completetion of a Bachelors and is seen "graduate degree", so maximum individuals do not even complication about that (many don't even get one) till sucessful completeion of a 4 365 days application. yet, if you're searching right into a school, your probably searching at a 4 365 days degree, it is a sturdy thanks to pass. yet, many human beings attend an area community college for 2 years (becuase that's more cost-effective), take each and every of the needed classes which will be required for ANY degree, then pass on to a 4 365 days college to get thier Bachelors. even though it particularly relies upon on what you want to attain this some distance as artwork/career. examine such as your college practise counselor to pinpoint which driection is ideal for you. yet definately do it, you'd be happy you probably did. sturdy success.

you are right about associates and bachelors. in terms of diploma, you can either get associates or bacherlos depends how many credits you have and years it took you but the certificate is completely different. certificates usually take less than 2 years ( could be just months ) but they are not as valuable as degrees( diplomas)
