My documents keep going to the printer que but it won't print. I went to the que and found shockwave files cleared them, rebooted my printer and computer. I still could not print. I went back and a different set of shockwave files were in it. I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled still nothing. There are no updates for my printer. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions? I ran a virus scan but my computer is clean.

cable is working fine and so is the ink. I have no idea why shockwave files keep popping up in the que. The only change I made was download of ie7.

...... try uninstalling IE7,.... and going back to IE6...... IE7 come's with a Norton Security System included, and when i used it,.. it's security started to over ride my computer setting's, causing my operating system's to malfunction.... When i uninstalled IE7, and went back to IE6,.. that fixed my problem's.... ( Note: use an alternative security provider,... as this seem's to happen a lot when people switch to IE7.)....

I don't know what shockwave files are but you may want to go Printers & Faxes in your control panel and make sure your printer is the only device assigned to be your primary device. May seem obvious but did you check to make sure the cable hasn't been knocked loose or something? Good luck.

Check to see all those fancy cleanings and roller cleanings have been done, though I doubt that's it because the paper would be jammed.
Be sure you have not changed some setting, and have prints on hold or going to a nonexistent printer, fax machine etc
Good luck. My computer won't even turn on, very weird.

I find that with my lexmark, for some reason, the graff that shows the level of ink that is left in the print cartradge, is not always accurate. My color says full, but in reality, it is empty. When the black ink ran out, the graff sayed I was half empty. You may just be out of ink.
Only other thing you may want to check, is if a soft ware conflict may be getting in the way

well lets think. when did this start happening? did you make any changes to your system at all before it started happening? maybe an update was downloaded? you can try going back to the last system point before the update and see if that works. how old is your printer? you can try calling your printer manufacturer and see if they can help. also, sometimes virus scan software doesn't find everything. try ad-aware or trend micros housecall website. good luck!

Why dont you spend US$ 100 on a new one? Sound like the best solution.
