I love it. I know everytime I say that I am sick to my stomach people say "You could be pregnant" and I say "HELLO, if so I am gonna be rich! I had a full hystructium a year ago! Maybe I have the flu!"
I feel ya. I makes me laugh my butt off!

YES! About 3 ladies at my work have fallen pregnant and all come out at the same time with the news - now whenever any other female has any ailment we're all pregnant!! The lads also think theres a 'pregnancy seat' in the bathroom and if you sit on the loo that's it, you're pregnant. It's irritating and getting boring!

YES! A lot of times I have nausea problems and that's the first thing people say. Birth control pills can make you feel nauseous if you had to "double up." But yes, it's annoying, so most of the time I don't say anything unless I'm having horrible pains.

It's simply in our nature to say stupid things once in a while, is all. Everyone catches themselves doing it. My favorite? I once worked in the same business as my sister. When talking to someone who recognised my last name (my sister is single, therefore has my last name) and confirmed that her and I are siblings, they--I swear I'm not making this up--followed up with this golden classic: "How long has she been your sister?"
I couldn't help it. I replied, "Oh, for awhile now..."
As commedian Bill Engvall might say, "Here's your sign!"
Come to think about it, George Carlin also owes much of his livelyhood to observing these quite interesting people.
You really can't stop people from saying things that just irk you, either... so you might as well learn to be amuzed by it. It's always better to laugh than seeth! People just sometimes open their mouths before they channel a given thought through their brains. All of us do it sooner or later... it's just one of those not-so-proud things we all share!

Welcome to Yahoo Answers, where the world's most ignorant teenaged slang talking idiots get to give completely inaccurate and possibly dangerous medical advice.
Consider yourself lucky. At least they're not telling you to do something that would be FATAL, like at least a few answers I've seen.
