I understand what you mean.
If a cat gets locked in a closet by mistake, he just looks around and seems to think " O great, a nice sweater on the floor to curl up on" No thoughts to 'What if I need to use the litter box or if I get hungry ?' They just chill.
One of my cats was concerned last night when I put the food bowl in the dishwasher.He sat there until It was all clean and back on the floor.

darn neurotic cat...no cares in the world except when it comes to "why is she touching my cat litter box and why does the dog get more attention and better food than me?" I am so envious!!!

Gosh no kiddin' That's what I wanna be when I grow up !! LOL !! My two are just sleepers all day, everyday, they only want me to cuddle on occasion. Yes I'm jealous !! Good question.

Why I love mine....!....when I've been stressed out to tears and felt no where to turn to and I just lay down near them, they've taught me that RELAXING wont kill me!
