Grand stones are easy to find. Go to a Mage's Guild and you probably can find some laying around or you an buy some from a Mage's Guild. You can also find Necromancer caves and find them there too. It's not too hard to find at all.

You can get three at the Imperial City Arcane University (they are in the lobby, just pick the lock. The Chorrol Mages' Guild Hall has two in a display case; you can also purchase empty Grand Soul Gems from many Mages' Guilds.
If you prefer to go get the gems yourself, Crayfish Cave, Swampy Cave and Squandered Mine should have them.
Good luck finding your soul gems.
