I'm normally pretty lenient about this stuff, but this is so important that you NEED to do your homework and read it yourself. It's not long at all.

It's divided into three parts. the first part is where the colonists explain why men can cast off tyrants.

the second part is where they list what King George III has done to tee them off.

the third part announces their decision to officially break away from England.

This looks like homework to me.

Read your history book or go to the public library. Ask for books on the Declaration of Independence. Sit down and READ!!!

You can answer this question by just reading about how the Declaration was written. There is historical background you need to consider when answering this question. (The role of the British govt in colonial affairs, for one)

Here:
http://www.archives.gov/national-archives-experience/charters/declaration.html
http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/

These are websites you need to sit down and read. It should help you figure it out. But you should really read the Declaration of Independence in it's entirety. It's quite good.
