I live and work here and if I didn't have to run a restaurant I would leave town. This is the worst week to be here. This year from April 1st to April 8th it will be a complete ZOO.

This is the time that every person takes off to party and party to them means stopping traffic in both directions if you see someone you knew anytime in the last 20 years. If you blow your horn they look at you like you have 20 eyes in your head not understanding how you can not be patient.

They play music so loud that they can damage your ears.

Given the choice I would NEVER come here that week. Why compete with every low class slob from the interior when they take their vacation and are uncivilized and disrespectful?

Come either before or after.

You will thank me for listening and curse yourself out for not.

If you are going to be at a resort you shouldn't have any trouble thou maybe on Good Friday you might. Many Dominicans that live outside the island return on those days cause it's all about the beach and parties.
