Fix the hormonal imbalance in your system. I have PCOS and have been given my options...and chosen not to take them. I'm still living with the acne. Good luck! Sorry that's not much of an answer, I just wanted to let you know that you're not alone.
One thing that has helped me, though, it using aloe to dry out my acne. I buy the colorless (not green) aloe from Wal-Mart or Target. You'll find it in the health and beauty section.
It's the extra testosterone that is causing the acne. Have they checked all of your hormone levels lately? If not, ask your doc to do that. I'd also ask them to check your TSH and your glucose levels. It's very common for people with PCOS to have issues with their Thyroid as well as issues with their blood sugar.

Try Proactiv and see if it works for you as it has for me.
http://www.proactivsolution.co.uk/
I know this is a serious problem that can be very depressing but I found this system really worked. I saw results within just one month. I used it everyday, morning and night. It's not that expensive and comes with a money back guarantee so as far as I was concerned it was worth a try. I am so happy I tried it. My skin has never looked better and now if I get a little monthly breakout, it clears up fast.
I also had the kind of cystic acne that lies under the skin and often would last for a week or more, and it's gone.
And for people telling you to change your diet and/or try drugs, let me tell you something, none of that helped my acne. My pcos was helped/cured by following a low carb diet, but that did not improve my acne whatsoever.
Proactiv did!
Good luck!
P.S. I strongly advise you to stay clear of "snake oil cures." Like for example this "liver flush." I feel that such a technique is probably useless - and in some cases, hazardous!

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symptoms and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Ditto the above poster. FIX THE HORMONE IMBALANCE. Don't cover it up by just taking a med to fix the acne..etc...it all comes full circle eventually. I have PCOS and am doing injections of hormones because my body just stopped making them.
And this isn't widely known about or done...but just throwing it out there for you to make an educated choice for yourself. Your LIVER is what processes your hormones. If it gets backed up and storing extra hormones instead of processing them...it effects your health, makes your symptoms worse. Mainstream docs can't make money off this, don't recommend alternative options (because they can be sued)...etc..... there is something called a liver flush and all these problems we're having can be practically erased by doing a series of them. It takes a committed heart and someone who truly wants to recover from some of the effects of health problems...it took me a year to 'get over' what I learned about a liver flush before I tried one. I recently started back up... There have been several people post on curezone.com about their PCOS being practically non exisitant since they did flushes...one lady lost over 80 pounds too.
This site mirrors my situation...
www.sensiblehealth.com (great place to learn how the liver/gallbladder effect your hormonal issues)
www.curezone.com (liver flush support forum)
Good luck...and again.... FIX the underlying problem and the acne will go away.
