Beauty is subjective. Not every TV show has to be filled with gorgeous people like in Hollyoaks. In real life people are often unattractive and perhaps the show is trying to be realistic.

That's a bit harsh. Though since I moved from Scotland in June, I haven't seen it since and it could have changed.
But gutted we don't get Fair City, the Dublin soap. It's genius!

they have character unlike other soaps. personality counts.
