The Dean's list is just a list of all the students that had a 3.5 gpa or higher in a given semester. I think you get a certificate and it's another thing to put on a CV if you are planning to further your education. Congrats!

it is similar to honor roll at a lower grade if you look in your catalolg from your school there should be a section telling you how high one's gpa must be to get on the dean's list.
And congrats if you are on the list!

it means your a very very good student. the dean is like the president of the college and if your on his honor list then your the man

it means you are an honor student. congratulations! make sure you add it in your resume when you will be looking for internships/jobs, it's great!
