Yes. Just as I was outraged when Andrew Cuomo couldn't account for $59 Billion at HUD under Clinton. Just as I was outraged when on September 10, 2001, Rumsfeld said they were not able to account for $2.3 Trillion, basically most of the defense spending during the Clinton administration.

But that's what you get from big government - incompetence, inefficiency, corruption. I'm just trying to figure out why people think this same bureaucracy will magically become efficient, capable and trustworthy if they hand over all US health care to them. Kind of crazy, no?

I'm outraged every time the govt get involved with anything since they waste money on EVERYTHING they get involved with. There is no logical reason to expect a war to be any different in this sense. However national defense is the NUMBER 1 priority of the national govt so I expect it but hope the oversight will work on limiting the problems. If the house would spend a week trying to fix this problems instead of wasting a week on a high school crying fest maybe we could figure out more ways to save on over expenditures.

Here was one of the best parts of that whole article:

"The bill, sponsored by Sen. Byron Dorgan (news, bio, voting record), D-N.D., and 22 other senators, would impose penalties of up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $1 million for war profiteering and restore a rule that prohibits awarding federal contracts to companies exhibiting a pattern of breaking the law in performance of government contracts.
That rule, put in place by President Clinton, was dropped by the Bush administration upon taking office, Dorgan said."

Gasp!!! You mean Dumbyah dropped a rule that punished government contractors who did a crap*y job?!?!?!
I can't believe it!
It's almost like he is a servant to big business.

I'm outraged by frivolous government spending wherever it occurs. This is yet another example of why we can not trust the government to take care of our health care or social security. Even when the government uses tax money for defense it is squandered. Why would the left want to give these people more money to mismanage?
