When we have eliminated all the intollerant muslim militants, will we have a chance to have peace. Peace is the absence of threat and the presence of justice. Neither will happen until the islamic militant are history.

No....

there will never be peace on earth because of Humans and their nature, not because of Bush.

Humans have never been nor will ever be a peaceful creature.

the day that happens is the day the last human being dies.

in about 10,000 years of known human history no civilization has ever been peaceful (no not even the goddess worshiping ones).

for permanent peace to exist you would have to eliminate all things that make people... people...

They would have to agree on everything, food, clothing, land use, water use, religion, politics, what color the curtains in the bedroom should be etc...

there could be no independent thought. no desire for more, or to be the best, or to possess something some one else owns.

It will never come down to one man either causing or preventing world peace from breaking out.

No one man is capable of that.

people who think Bush is preventing world peace, need to open a history book and see what being human is really about.

Hell I cant even have dinner with my own family without an argument breaking out, what makes any one think a hundred countries with competing interests, ideas, religions and needs, could get along enough for world peace to break out?

I really thought that once Reagan made the USSR irrelevant, that we'd finally have peace. But no..............

Now we have the religious psycopaths who can recruit terrorists from the ranks of the uneducated, the angry, and the desperate.

However, if Bush's plan to bring democracy to the Middle East flourishes, then peace will finally be attained. Democracies do not war against one another. Think about it. Find two democracies that actually had an armed conflict (GB and Argentina fighting for the Faulkland Islands doesn't count; Argentina was really a dictatorship then).

It really has nothing to do with Bush at all. There will never be peace on earth because people are too different from one another.

Don't credit Bush with more than he's responsible for.

Peace on Earth will not come from Bush, Blair, Hilary, Obama, or any other worldly person. But, Bush brought a lot of peace to many in Iraq. Peace will come when Jesus returns and set up His Kingdom .

All Bush did was stand up for Americans. We were attacked first. It was only 6 years ago, I'm sure you've heard about it, 9/11.

Before 9/11, we didn't bother with these people.....

The Middle East muslims have been fighting for centuries. Why they brought it over here? Because they want to dominate.

Their job as muslims is to conquer the world and make everyone bow down to their Muhammed. Talk about shoving religion down someone's throat, they are trying to do it. Look at all of the fighting going on in this entire world, who is behind it?? MUSLIMS!

I don't care if you want to call them extremists, radicals etc. They are muslim and they want to rule. Why don't you leave Bush alone and put your anger and energy where it belongs, in the Middle East, starting with the muslims.

How is fighting back when we are attacked being the aggressor. And in Iraq we are trying to bring about peace in a country that was ruled for over 30 yrs by a brutal dictator and are trying to stay ahead of the religious zealots who wish to take it back 700 years and control all of the middle east. Sometimes the road to peace is rocky and long. But it is worth it.

Your question makes no sense. There will only be peace on earth when tyranical, religious fanatics such as the Sunnis, Muslems, Shiites, Islamics all decide to either just get it over with and kill each other and they all die. OR they just learn to move into the 21st century.

President Bush has NOTHING to do with the FACT that these terrorists have been waging war for centuries.

There will never be "peace on earth"
Never will everyone agree on anything
It is freedom of thought and it has already been tried to control ones thoughts and it hasn't ever worked
its just the way it is
Passion can't be dictated or controlled

I've got news for you...there will never be peace on earth no mater who is in the White House. There will always be a Pol Pot, Attila the Hun, Hitler, Idi Amin, Mussolini, or whoever. It is up to the rest of the world to resist the evil of the day or be consumed by it.......
