five months really isn't very long (although I know it SEEMS like a long time when you want a baby). I'm 37 and I'm pregnant for #5. My youngest is 4 and we didn't use any type of birth control after she was born although we weren't really "trying" either - so it took 3.5 years of unprotected intercourse to conceive this baby. I think it gets harder to conceive as you get older. Good luck!

P.S... have you talked to your OB/GYN about trying to become pregnant? He/She can do some simple blood tests to eliminate any hormonal imbalances that may be preventing you from becoming pregnant.

i was pregnant really quick, maybe because , me and my husband are not on any contraception except, rhythm and withdrawal method.. im 34 this yr and my bby is now 9months old..my big sis is trying for a baby, but so far shes on your same situation..she loosing weight at the moment and still trying though...anyway jst dont give up...ask and it will be given to you soon...best of luck!!!

Yes...I am 38 and have been trying to conceive since Sept..No luck yet but am crossing my fingers that this month will be it! Good Luck to you~~
