I am 25 weeks pregnant && I know for a fact my husband && I are having a baby girl. We chose the name Sinai Annise [Carter] for her. ::Pronounced like the actress Sanaa Lathen:: What do yall think about that name?
Secondly, we are hoping to have a boy after this child. We came up with the first name Mikhai but we cannot think of any middle name. HELP PLEASE!! Mikhai _______ [Carter]....?

I don't know the actress Sanaa Lathen so I'm not sure how to pronounce the first name, but I love the middle name. Mikhai Thomas, Mikhai Aeron.

Well Sinai is sweet but why not make it Sanaa, it will not cause your daughter alot of problems with explaining how to pronounce her name to other people..But I still think it is a beautiful name.
Why not name your future boy Mikhai Lawrence Carter?
It's a really pretty name..

I've never heard of Sanaa Lathen so I'm not sure how her name is pronounced. Is it pronounced Sigh-nigh?
Sinai is the name of a mountain in the Middle East. If her name is not pronounced "sigh-nigh" then be ready for people to pronounce it that way anyway.
As for the name itself, Sinai is not at all my favorite. Annise is pretty..how about Annise for the first name instead?

I don't know the names are too different for my tastes. I know people named after famous people and family members and they hate it. It's like they are expected to be like that person and mirror their actions and looks and careers. They just want to be them and not someone else. They also hate all the attention. OH my gosh you have the same name as this other person and wow that person was so cool and hot looking. Not that you're not cool or anything but did you know.... Yah whatever. I will never name my child after anyone ever. My child will be a new life, new creation, and a new beginning. My child will be his/her own person not someone else and not live in someone else's life.

I love unusual names. Sinai is beautiful, and for Mikhai his middle name should be Shilo, its beautiful and it sounds good.

That naem could give her problems in school. Keep in mind that the child will live with whatever name you give her, also keep in mind that the name should describe her and help her to be recognized not just a name that sounds good or is just new and unheard of.
