and count your blessings? How many of us live day to day complaining about the snow, having to go to work, not finding a babysitter for the weekend. There are so many people who today, are dealing with saying goodbye to their daughter who is dying from cancer, or are so sick that just sitting they struggle to catch their breath. I take so many things for granted everyday. Why can't I just love my kids and be content that at least I have them here with me? So..do any of you out there know how lucky you are to be living an average life? Let's all take a few minutes today to stop and smell our wonderfully plain roses and count our blessings.

It usually takes those really pretty days when you just feel like sitting outside and enjoying the nice weather for me to just stop. I have to just chill sometimes to not get to carried away in my life and superficial things that are always around me. Like when your car gets messed up, or you think you dont look to hot today, those are all superficial things that we shouldn't even stress over. So I try to stop and smell the roses everyday and rethink what happened to me that day and pray to God. The only way I just take time to stop is when I pray and that puts me back on track.

Yes, so true. We do take our life and the world around us for granted, but that happens in a busy world.
I now have a slower pace life and enjoy the simpler things... it's much better and I appreciate it so much more. It does help to have a special someone to share it with.

blessings you tell me what blessings? we are in debt up to our ears since my husband's car accident, he is disabled now but yeah we should count our blessings since he didn't die instead he gets to live with pain for the rest of his life
