White Elephant?

Question

I know how to play White Elephant Exchange, but I know that there is a way to play it while you are reading a story. And whenever the person or thing in the story turns right or left you pass the present you have to the right or to the left. If anyone has any information on this story and how I can get a copy, please let me know. Thanks!
