In my experience, different people have different reactions. Usually that 4 hour estimate is close.
Did they double or triple dialate you? I have 2 conditions that require 2, 3, or 4 times the dosage and I'll stay dialated as long as 12 hours.

It depends on what is making them dilate. For example marijuana could cause this effect for 3-4 hours. Eye drops in the eye doctor's office generally last 1-2 hours and there are reversing drops available. During eye surgery 4 hours of dilation is helpful. have a nice day.

About an hour. The first 15 minutes after leaving the doctor are terrible. You need dark sunglasses.

usually about 3-4 hrs. If they have to use a stronger than normal drop it could last up 6-12 hrs or longer if you have really light colored eyes

If you get them done at like the eye doctor, then it only takes about six hours or so. But if ur sick, then I dunno. Probably half a day.
