does it cause your cervix to thin? what can happen when you feel it tighten all the time. i mean alot everyday?
i am 19 weeks with an incompitent cervix and i was seen last week my cervix was thinning a little but they werent that worried yet, its been a week and like 3 days, and everyday i have had these tightenings i go back tomorrow is it possible that this is causing me to thin?
just wondering what exactly happens when it tightens or contracts.

The uterus contracting will cause your cervix to thin out. You really need to talk to your doctor if you're having alot of contractions. They might need to stitch it shut.
