faith and politics are 2 quite some issues. i'd vote for an atheists that has a Christian physique of ideas in direction of the unfavorable and opposes pointless wars and better wages for American workers and known well-being care in the previous I voted for an alleged Christian like Bush. As a Christian i think that any political interest i'm getting entangled in could be for the purpose of becoming a international a greater valuable place and that i visit paintings with atheists to try this.

Sure, if I thought he was the best man for the job. Religious affiliation or belief has nothing to do with politics and the ability of a person to be a good leader. Quite frankly, I wish they would all keep it to themselves. WHO CARES. When someone starts in with the religious thing, it just further divides we, the people.

There is a reason why church and state are kept separate. - Or, at least should be.

No, I would not. I have one aethiest brother, who believes there are no consequences for anything he does. How can a person love other people and still be an aethiest..........I know my brother is the most negative person I've ever met, and I feel sorry for him.
He IS a millionaire, and I feel sorry for HIM. The self proclaimed aethiests that I have known have been really racists. How could anyone take the chance of the public officer being a racist? I wouldn't. It was only when JFK was elected Pres. that this great Nation allowed a Catholic to hold this office! Now, it seems natural............but, it wasn't THEN. I am a JFK man all the way!

Just because one has a PhD in ethics it does not mean they are ethical. Satan was God's most beautiful angel. Who could quote scripture more beautiful. Who cares if they are an atheist, if they have a platform that I agree with and a history to back it up, then I am fine.

Absolutely, where is that candidate? ... you would be amazed by what someone like that in our public forum could do... the country pee's itself every time someone shakes the god rattle..
that individual would never get a shot.. if you don't have God behind you in the old Red white and Blue then you better start pedaling yer godlessness somewhere else..

Religion doesn't matter to me man considering I'm agnostic. If we shared the same views on things that matter to me then yeah I would vote for that person

Yes, if I agreed with what he proposed to do, and thought he was honest and would really try to get his proposals passed by Congress--which is are the critera I use for any candidate.

Given those conditions, certainly. Hell, given 2 out of 7 of those and they'd get my vote :)
