I just need to know what I need to do so I can move forward with my campaign. Any former campaign staff or any one who has worked on a campaign please answer with any suggestions.

I ran for a county level position approximately two years ago. Make an in-person visit to your county Supervisor of Elections or Board of Elections and ask for a "candidate handbook". The handbook will contain all of the legal and financial information you need to officially launch your campaign, get your name of the ballot, and head off any potential legal or financial problems. Whatever you do, do NOT take any money before a separate campaign account has been opened (you cannot use a personal account) and is on record with the Supervior/Board of Elections in your county. After you have reviewed the procedures outlined in the candidate handbook, focus on making your campaign experience fun and memorable. Even in the event that you fail to make it through the primary or win the general election, it will still an experience you never forget! Don't forget to save momentos like buttons, stickers, the text of speeches, etc.

Good luck!

You need a platform and an outreach program.

Your platform is everything you believe in and stand for.

An outreach program is a comprehensive dateline to meet with all the right people, convince as many voters as possible, and spread your message across while improving voter turnout.

Are you being serious or is this a homework project?

when you say paperwork i assume you mean you have filed as a candidate? or did you go through the precinct process?
i can't tell if you are in a partisan or nonpartisan election.
in any case you need a campagn manager, and organization and signs and appointments. you need to start going to fundraisers for yourself and speaking at events to get people to see you.
get in debates with the other candidates and walk door to door in your district. start going to events and pressing the flesh.
