For one - I really like the right to be murdered on the street.

Its very interesting how the US believes in rights as laid out in its constitution but does not afford those rights to people outside the US; nor does it require those rights to be expected by Americans and US companies outside of the US and takes advantage of countries yet unable to create those laws within their own boundries. I think the US takes unfair advantage of everyone. Now there's a Christian country for you.

If we follow the rights granted in the constitution why did california say the primary system voilate political parties right of assocation. I read the constitution and the amendments and gee, NOWHERE in the us constitution did it say politcal parties had rights.......

The US is not being 'punished' because of abortion, the two are unrelated (although we deserve punishment for legalized abortions). I think your pastor friend has been drinking too much holy wine.
