Its different for everyone. They say it takes 3-6 months, typically, for someone who is normal and has no health issues. I was on the pill for 9 years straight and it took me 7 years to get PG. A few weeks after I stopped taking the pill and started trying, I was diagnosed with diabetes. It takes longer, generally, for women with problems like that to get PG. I was going through fertility treatments and taking clomid and It got so frustrating. But, I did finally have a baby. She is almost 2 and is the joy of my life. Don't give up if it don't happen right away. Hang in there! Good luck and God Bless you!

Oh man you were on birth control for quite a while, and it can take a long time for your body to get back to normal, birth control has a way of messing up your cycle once you stop taking it. I would say give your body 6-12 months to get back on track. I can't really say when you can get pregnant though, some woman become pregnant right after stopping and others have a very hard time getting pregnant it really depends on how long you were taking birth control for.....Their are some things you might want to try they are natural herbs and they help your body get back on track and boost your fertility they are called vitex(chasteberry), red raspberry, red clover those are really great and work well givin that it could take 1-3 months to start seeing any improvements..I have known quite a few woman to take this and actually become pregnant when they couldnt even conceive with fertility drugs such as clomid ect, I have even taken these myself granted i was not trying to get pregnant then just regulate my period...good luck to you and lots of baby dust:)

When I spoke to my Dr. about that she said that the normal time range is anywhere from 1 month to 9 months. I was on the pill for 11 years, I stopped on 12/24/06 and found out I was pregnant on 1/17/06. Every body is different. Good Luck!!!!

Everyone is different..You may get pregnant right away or it may take some time...they say a couple with normal fertility can take up to a year to conceive...also there is only a 25% chance each month that a pregnancy will occur..Good Luck~

Give your body time to adjust. It can take a woman anytime from 1 month to a half of year to get her period after birth control.
Birth control messed up my system so that I didn't get a period for 3 months.

It took us 6 months from the time i ended till the time I foudn out i replaced into pregnant, yet i have been informed i'm very fertile and my husband has an particularly severe sperm count number. i replaced into taking Ortho Novum Lo, and we desirous to renounce it to "attempt" yet no longer "attempt" if that's smart. We did no longer have sex "many times" yet when we did it replaced into unprotected and round my time of ovulation - we used the Shettles approach and that i charted for 2 months in the previous i ended my BC and then each and each month we tried.

No way to answer that -- If I missed a pill, I got pregnant. Some women have to wait months or even years for it to get out of their systems.

Could take up to 3 months for the pills to exit your system, but you may be lucky and get pregnany right away. Good luck!

i've heard its recomended that you wait a while (1yr) so that all the extra hormones get out of your body.......one of my co-workers stopped taking them in november she was preg. by december and just lost it a week ago......she was on it for 5 years.........if you are concerned about your health and your babys i suggest you wait.....good luck to you though!!!
