CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware

First, install FireFox. Second, go into the Tools-Options interface and go into the Privacy tab. Edit the settings for what to delete when you clear private data (cookies, history, etc...). You can then choose to always clear private data when FireFox exits or you can manually do this using Tools-Clear Private Data.

NOTE: This and the solutions to Internet Explorer above will only remove the entries on the disk. A truly determined sleuth will use some disk recovery program to locate deleted files unless you have a program that thoroughly trashes the underlying file system. Fortunately most people don't go to that level so you should be OK. Now what you will need to worry about is whoever you are hiding your activities from noticing that you cleared out your history.

Depends on what you are asking here. Try this and see if this is to what you are referring if using Internet Explorer. Click Tools then Internet Options. Under the General tab under Temporary Internet Files click the Delete Files button. Under the History click Clear History although this should be set to a certain amount of days. If you want to go a step further, under Temporary Internet files click Delete Cookies but if you have any saved usernames or passwords on webpages, they will be deleted also and you will have to reenter them.

yeah, you dont want your parents to find out that youve been watching porn.

but srsly, find the history in your browser (mozilla- Go menu, history. a side bar will appear and you just right click delete everything. IE- there should be a little..clock like thing with an arrow and you click that and right click delete. the button should be near your back button, refresh, stop etc.) and if that isnt good enough for you, you can always swipe your computer with a magnet thing..that'll delete everything though so i dont recommend it. ahahah) you can also just delete the incriminating site from your history if you dont want to look suspicous becuz youve deleted all of your history.

You have no idea how many times I've been asked this by customers at the Help Desk... 3am, father of 3 was doing his nightly porn surfing when he suddenly realizes his wife has waken up... ahh!!!

For you, it should be simple. In IE, go to Tools -> Internet Options, and delete all History and Files.

Try...click on "tools" on top bar, then "internet options" then in "browsing history" select delete. That will give you what options you want. Then go back to "tools" click on "browser options" click on "search URLs" follow the prompt. Then do the same for "clear searches." Good luck!
