I have a blinking red light on my heater system and the pilot is electric,it comes on for a minute and shuts down.

I had the same problem with mine three years ago. Mine was the electronic starter and the internal fuse kicking it off. The part was 70 and labor was 120. I got a book at the library for it and still couldn't fix it :( good luck.

Blinking light...means error.
Comes on for a minute? Thermocouple is bad.

U got the heater set too high, keep it at med. only or low.
Most heaters do this--overload
