I let my oldest go out usually i take her pick her up that way i know where she is going who she hanging out with, other girls have a aggrement with their parents often take turns watching them. Of course mostly all teens are disrespectful. but when i tell my girls to do something they do it, with expanation. My girls always got my back if some tries to mess with me i would turn around and my girls will be there.

Yes. We raise our kids as we see fit in hopes that they grow up to me mature responsible adults. What one parent thinks is ok may not be ok for another parent. Don't listen to them, the proof of your good work is in the outcome and behavior of your girls. You are obviously doing it right. Maybe they should learn from you if they are having such a hard time with theirs. You go Mom

You must be doing something right for them to be trustworthy and obedient. Continue on as you are and let the others deal with the mess their children are in on their own. I taught my girls right from wrong and never backed down when they (or their friends parents) said I was too strict with them. My girls are 29 and 32 and I am so proud of them today

We need to do our best as parents to avoid allowing the wold to be over populated with assholes, so teching your girls how to act isn't bad. You might want to ask them, Ignore your friends.
