There are hotels with smoking rooms but not knowing the dates you will be in Chicago makes difficult to estimate prices.

Fairmont has smoking rooms and also has computers.

But they could get pricey around holidays.

The Congress Plaza Hotel has smoking rooms but I am not sure about computers. I have not stayed there in a few months.

Maybe try these web pages to find the best location, price and amenities for you.

Very few hotels have computers in the actual rooms. However, most Fairfield Inns and Holiday Inn Express hotels have computers in the lobby that guests can use. There are several of these scattered around the suburbs.

You might also consider finding a Kinko's or a similar copy and office needs outlet. They usually have computers available for use.

This might be out of your budget, but the Club Quarters Hotel has computer rooms (thought not computers actually in the rooms).

The Westin Chicago Hotel in the River North area recently added iMac computers to its Executive Club rooms, but again, they might be a little pricey.

Like someone else suggested, there are other places you can go to use a computer cheaper than it would cost to get a business class room. Do a search for a place called "Screenz", a computer cafe where you can buy computer time.

Computers in the lobby, but not in the rooms. In Chicago we have a no smoking policy, so pretty much youcan only smoke in a bar or a private residence.
