The guy at the pet store said he thought he was about 1 week, but he admitted that the woman who specialized in rodents was not there, so he wasn't sure. I knew he/she had to be older than that, and he/she didn't seem to be nursing. You can't see very well, but his eyes are now fully open.

The mouse is about 3-4 weeks old. Mice generally open their eyes at about 3 weeks. Mice are pink for one week. The next week they develop pigment. Third week, hair can be seen. By the 4th week the mouse is nearly an adult. Mice can mate at 5-6 weeks.
One single male mouse makes a good pet. Females tend to bite. Cannot keep males together that are not fromt the same litter or the dominant mouse will kill the others.

awe he/or she doesnt look old at all maby a week and a half if hes only just opened his eyes if you know what sex it is i do think you should get another of the same sex mice a very friendly and would like another pall to play with. i hope you get lots of enjoyment out of it.
