Yes, and I use a pillow to sit on. You just have to remember to get up every 20 minutes or so and walk or do slight stretching to help relieve the soreness.

I try stretching and hurdles sometimes but people look at me funny so I am back to sore butt syndrome like you!

Yeah!! Mine totally does. My tail bone is usually killing me, hard to stand up and you have to walk around to get any relief!
