First can I say that I have been a huge fan of Nicole for years, dating back to the Tom-era. She is awesome: beautiful, talented, with an impeccable sense of style. No on can touch her when it comes to fashion. To answer your question: I am partial to To Die For and Cold Mountain, but my all time favorite happens to be her first starring role in Dead Calm. It was the film Tom saw and that made him call her up, by the way. She is so awesome in that. And To Die For, I was obsessed with that movie! I even had a suit similar to one she wore in the movie!

I know it won't seem profound, but my favorite movie was "My Life" - costarring Michael Keaton. It is about a man with cancer and she plays his pregnant wife. While not the best movie ever made, I loved the relationship between them and the message of "make the most of every day" ... I started crying when they started dancing at the fair and I didn't stop for hours ... Which is my SECOND fave movie of hers - "The Hours" ... me and Oscar agree, she was fantastic!

Moulin Rouge. she played such a passionate character and has an excellent singing voice! They could not have picked a better actress for the lead role for that musical/movie.

I really liked her in her role in The Others. Another of my favorites is Moulin Rouge, she has a beautiful voice.
