..legally obligated to provide the prisoners heart medication? If the prison deliberately with holds that medication have they then commited murder when the prisoner has heart attack and dies?

Yes, by all means. You have a right to any needed medication, especially for a heart condition. They must, under law, dispense this medication at the time(s) required.
If they are not doing so, be certain to contact your attorney immediately. You may be in prison, but this is not sufficient reason for them to withhold meds. That could fall under cruel and unusual punishment...and good enough for prosecution.

Yes, the prison is legally obligated to provide his medication as long as the doctors in the prison deem it medically necessary. If they withhold this medication and he dies, you can sue.
Just the other day in Florida a woman was raped and then arrested when she reported the rape on unrelated charges. She had taken one of hte morning after pills but was prevented from taking the rest while in prison because one of hte guards was against it... trust me, she will be suing and has a great case.

They are legally obligated to provide medication once the prisoner has seen an approved/prison doctor. He must request to see a doctor.

Your right..Theyre obligated to give proper meds in prison. Unfortunatly, I've been there a couple times !

If they know that the medication is necessary, and there is a perscription. But if there is no perscription, or the inmate refuses to have a medical check, or never mentions to the prision that he needs this medication, then no they are not at fault.
