You have far fewer Muslims refugees in America than almost any other developed country.

Muslim lunatics? Im sorry, but how many american murders, robberies and muggings are there? Probably a great higher percentage than those of Muslims in America! No offence but you have kind of a simple mind. Maybe re-search a bit before calling Muslims 'lunatics'. Terrorism and violence is not part of the muslim religion.

What happened on september the 11th was truly shocking and awful, but since then, ive noticed almost every muslim i see is disregarded, no longer respected and are currently under threat by simple minded people who presume just because a small minority did something truly unforgivable, that everybody else is just the same.

Oh, I don't know. Are you a full blooded Native American? If not, then someone in your family tree was an immigrant to this nation. I find it interesting that you characterize the Iraqi refugees as "Muslim lunatics", since some are Christian, and the Muslims amongst them are wanting to leave because they don't like violence. The majority of the 7,000, I have heard, are professionals--we're talking teachers, doctors, and the like. I am sure that they will be screened before they get here.

Frankly, your characterization of Muslims as "fifth column" smacks of the anti-Japanese hysteria of WWII.

I would say that bringing in Iraqi citizens is basically a president who is trying to befriend a part of the world by 'graciously' letting in some deprived Iraqi citizens who in turn deserve a 'better chance' to start over their lives here in the U.S.
One, if I was a leader of another country I would think that the gesture of bringing in refugees to the invaders homeland is somewhat sickening. "Oh, I'm gonna bomb the sh it out of your country, would you now like to move to mine?"
Obviously that's not how we think, but people who have never been to our soil, do not know the difference. So, that is an example of how they would think.
On the other hand, ol' George is trying to bring support for his troop boostment by bringing in the 'heartfelt companionship' us americans are notoriously known for. Ya' know the whole, "don't drill the oil, it will hurt the land,,,,,,,or don't kill cows, they have feelings too." Bush is simply looking for any type of approval from several different countries and his own people for that matter. Bringing in refugees means nothing....it means kind gesture.

Why do you think all of a sudden North Korea is acting like they will turn off the nuclear reactor?
B/c Bush is on the wall and the North never intended to go to war, or be put on the Axis of Evil. People don't realize that the north is more in debt than Germany was before WW I. The only way North Korea stays afloat is literally from imports from other countries.

Answer: Ol' Bush is looking for sympathy to 'his' cause.

Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, all desiring to be free.

Something like that is on the Statue of Liberty. Why did your ancestors come here? Were they on vacation and thought they'd stay? I doubt it. They had political or economic pressures at home. America offered them a dream and the freedom to make that dream a reality. Muslims are no different. Thinking of them as all the same shows ignorance of fact and bigotry.

By the way you had better not swing cats or you'll be on Animal Planet for animal abuse.

See you in the funny papers.

Peace.

No way! Why don't they build a camp like they did when those Cubans came here and it was to be decided where to put them but Reagan got in and they were all placed in Florida? hmmm?
Jeb Bush! It is Bush that wants those people and it is Reagan and bush sr and bush junior that placed them here and don't you ever forget that! Reagan was governor of California and they all were put into UCLA USC? And San Diego? You betcha Saudis! Jordanians, Nixon let in the VC and gave them Gardena California and the general of the VC who was the torturing monster of our POW's owned it all! He was a huge drug dealer as well! Why can't you see the pattern? Noreiga? and Bush Sr?
Come on?

Why just blame democrats? maybe because you're uneducated and can't read a newspaper? It says "The Bush administration will allow seven-thousand Iraqi refugees into the country over the next year."

No muslims should be allowed into the US. It would be the same as welcoming klansmen or nazis. In fact we should craft a policy that would get rid of the muslims that infest our country. Our foreign policy should advance the possition that a world without islam is a better more peacefull place, and we should work to stamp out this hate cult wherever we find it.

I am not a Dem but GW also is wanting to allow 7000 in right away. For the people who say all Islamic people are not terrorist I will say we should look at the risk like auto insurance companies look at risk; based on the stats. I am not saying that all Muslims are terrorist but I say that to pretend that most terrorist are not Muslim would be a dangerous and naive why to look at it. The facts are that most terrorist acts are carried out by Islamic extremist.

No I don't. I would like for them all to leave.

I don't like a religion pushed down my throat. No one should have rights to pray loudly 6 times a day on the street or be alloted time and a place in a workplace or just where ever they are.
