get something better than him, sweet pool or nice car, little cabbana bar and invite the nieghborhood over. Beat em at thier own game. or have a hotter wife. you could have another great accomplishment but that would be out of the arena of a nieghborhood beat the jones competition.
are you in a foriegn place, perhaps in an area recently invaded by many international corporations bombarding you with advertisements for home improvement products? That's your problem right there.

The hardest thing to do sometimes is to stop comparing ourselves and love ourselves unconditionally.
Go do something that makes you feel good about yourself.
And charity seems to fit the bill, given that your illness is jealousy of the rich.

Just ignore him. 100 years from now it's not going to matter how big your house is, what kind of car do you drive, where you graduated from, how much you make a year, and how beautiful your wife is.

Don't try to make him jealous, make him see you loving people no matter what level they are on. They will come over to your house and his house will be empty wiith that attitude.
