Should it be lawful for people to pay their church ties to the church then be able to claim the money back on their taxes at the end of the year.Is it not that they are not only cheating the Government as well as cheating GOD!!!!!!!!

Thithes are a charitable donation. It is not cheating the government, as the government set the rules up that way. It is not cheating God as he gets his pound of flesh.

No, the government encourages giving to charitable organizations because it helps people who are in need. That's why they give a tax break. It's not cheating God because you are still giving what you gave and not taking anything back from Him.

The law is the law. And you're worried the government might get cheated. 2.9 trillion dollars a year, and they still can't balance the budget. Are you joking?

What???? Its a charitable contribution if there wasn't some kind of tax break for charities the charities would suffer.
