I agree with you. The armored Winnebago was cheesy. I think they should have ended with Bill Murray saying, "And that's a fact, Jack!" and then winking into the camera. I'd give it about a 8 also.

I do agree with you that the movie was really good when they were in basic training but when they arrived in Europe was when it went downhill, I give the movie either a high 7 or a low 8.

They could have stopped after Basic Training and it would've been good. The whole part about Europe was a waste of time.

I agree with you The movie was great but it should have ended with them doing something better than what happened when they arrived in Europe

I'd agree, but I guess the whole movie couldn't have been basic training...
Warren Oates was PERFECT as Sgt. Hulka (the big toe!).

agreed, but thats par for the course with bill murry he never stops when it's enough. he tries to go that one bit too far and ends up being cheesy.
