It will open the home page of some sites but will not proceed from there.Example of sites that wont open are (msn.com) and it will only open the homepage of (ryanair.com).This is driving me crazy...I am using a dell Inspiron 1501. Helpppppppppppp.

sounds like pop ups or security settings are set up there.

you have not mentioned which OS you are usings if you are using windows then install JRE (java) if it still do not fix your problem then install another browser like firefox or Opera and then try

if you have windows, try installing MSIE 7.0
its new and pretty good.
