Down load the program tzedit.exe from Microsoft. Use it to set daylight saving to begin on the 2nd Sunday in March and end on the 1st Sunday in November. This should work for Windows 95 thru XP.

XP probably doesn't have the new date programmed in since it is just being done by the US. Maybe Microsoft will put out a fix that you can apply or not depending on where you live. Just watch what happens to see if you need to adjust it yourself. Then watch it again when the previously used date arrives.

Possibly, if any of your applications rely on date values they may not function correctly with the change in daylight savings. Other than that, your PC is not going to malfunction.

Make sure your machine is up to date by running windows update. Other than that, just be careful for anything date/time related until after the first sunday in april.

You'll have to manually change your computer's clock on March 11.

Fred ... Microsoft has already made the patch available for XP users. If your updates are current, then you've already got it.
