Pharmacy technicians in Florida?

I am certified in Virginia and want to move near Orlando or Ft. Lauderdale. I figure there are plenty of openings because of all the old people down there. How does it pay? Where would be best place to live near there that isn't super expensive?

Well....I live in Dania, south of Ft. Lauderdale, and there are tons of "old people" lol, but it's practically on the beach, so its pretty expensive. My sister is a Pharmacy Tech, and she does just fine here....I don't know how much you make in Virginia though....

You'll have to get a Florida license, but your certification will transfer.
