Darth Vader arrived shortly after Han and Leia, but Imperials had already made a deal with Lando. After torturing Han and Leia, Vader lay in wait for Luke. Luke was caught unawares and had his hand sliced off.

Well then as long as you know that you certainly won't be offended when I say that all the movie details leave my head the instant the movie is over - so I have no idea if he was or not.
