I have the flu and I was too tired to reach for the remote last night so I ended up watching this show about a Canadian hockey player who was missing for 14 years after going snowboarding in the Austrian alps, alone. His parents went many times to find him and investgate how he died. Turned out he fell into a crevasse right in front of the pro shop. Then that evening they used this huge threshing machine to groom the slopes and they crushed him and then filled in the crevasse! The scandal is that he never returned his board to the rental shop, and his car and passport were parked in the parking lot for 42 days. They should not have used the grooming machine if a board was not returned AND a car was left in the parking lot. Nobody from the resort did anything, said anything or even investigated. I didn't want to watch it but then I got hooked.
