On the BBC Six News a few minutes ago, they reported that two women forced a 2-year-old boy and his 3-year-old sister to fight. The girl punched the boy in the face and the women shouted to him to fight back. It was filmed. The women were arrested and have been told that they MAY go to prison.

What's with the word 'may'? Do you think, like me, that this pair of trash scumbags should serve at least 5 years?

Although parents are justifiably worried about paedophiles, the sad fact is that most child abuse seems to come from within the home..From what I read about this horrible case the powers that be are talking to the family in general about how to safeguarrd the childrens' welfare. How can that be when these 4 women were all members of the same family? Surely the women must go to prison and the children adopted?

Why is it evil bitches like this can have a baby just by staring at a man, and theres nice, kind women who can't have children but would make perfect mothers. Personally what I would do with the women in question, based on the info in the question, they would serve a 5 year sentence and then be sterilised, I think any parent convicted of child abuse should be sterilised automatically and have their children taken away permanently, they don't deserve children, human life is a miracle of nature, who are they to create life and then abuse it?

Yes, Yes, although they will probably argue that their children need them. What a sick joke that would be. This is the mindset of some parents today, positively immoral and sick.

We go on about paedophilia, which today does include some relatively minor offences alonside the serious ones. However, cruelty to children, up to and including murder, depriving them of love and affection, which will largely go unnoticed, but is nonetheless extremely damaging to them, is even worse in my book, but it hasn't been given an all embracing term like paedophilia.
