I agree with both of the other answers...

But, I love to spiritually meditate...

When you get into God's face...that is such a relaxing place....peaceful...and safe...

You can pray...or worship....or just sit with God....and you will fall right out and not know what happened...

You can do that by laying in the bed...and focusing on your breathing....and thinking about God....and just lay...and that will do the trick!!!!

Be sure to get a good work out that day - either jogging, or the gym, and work up a good sweat. This releives tension in your body. Then take a hot shower afterwards which removes sweat, and makes you feel squeeky clean. Then be sure to NOT watch t.v. at least an hour before going to bed, as t.v. actually winds your brain UP, not down. Read, or play some music. I sleep like a baby when I do these three things.
